Meet NFT
March 2021.
News circulated around the world that American digital artist Beeple's collage Everydays: The First 5000 Days, had sold for $69 million at Christie's.
At that time, I was painting from morning to night in a room in the crummy apartment.
Materials used were cheapies: acrylic paint, cardboard, and kraft paper for packing.
Anything that could be painted was fine with me.
I was just painting, driven by an inner impulse.
I had nothing to do with NFT.
When I learned the news about Beeple, I was very moved by his noble creative spirit.
It is no easy task for a husband, father, and designer to complete one painting a day for 5,000 days without a single day off.
I want to draw better. With this wish, Beeple continued to paint day after day.
Even when his child was born.
Some may question the $69 million price tag for digital art that can be copied by anyone.
However, this historical event has the essence of the value of art.
It is very mysterious for an artist to paint.
The enormous amount of time, effort, and life of the artist who had to face the painting is encapsulated in the painting.
The act of painting itself is the value of painting and the essence of art.
What is important about the Beeple News is that it was given compensation for the enormous amount of time and effort, 5,000 days, that it took to draw it.
It was the price paid for Beeple's attitude toward life, passion, and creation.
Why are Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, Picasso's Guernica, and Van Gogh's Sunflowers so expensive?
Because hidden behind the finished painting is a huge collage of their creative process, a piecing together of all the scenes of their lives.
The process of painting is more valuable than the finished painting.
For it is in the process of painting that the artist's life is concentrated.
Within each painting is locked the beauty, love, sorrow, joy, and anger that the artist has seen in his or her life up to that point.
The price of the painting is also the price of the artist's life.

I was fascinated by the story behind Everydays: The First 5000 Days, the fundamental question of what is the value of art that emanates from this work, and the completely new and unknown art of NFT art using blockchain as a canvas.
The NFT must have the essence of all the arts - painting, sculpture, music, literature, etc.
I had an unfounded conviction.
From that day on, I began to study NFT with great enthusiasm.
A room without air conditioning.
A wall with a hole in it.
A battered door.
A faucet with brownish water.
Torn cardboard scattered about, paint and charcoal dust staining the floor.
This is where the DAEMON NFT ART PROJECT began.
I was an amateur when it came to blockchain and cryptocurrency, let alone NFT.
Therefore, I studied diligently.
Who is Satoshi Nakamoto, inventor of the Bitcoin and blockchain?
Who is Vitalik Buterin, the inventor of Ethereum?
What is the difference between Bitcoin and Ethereum?
What is Mining?What is IPFS?
What are Cold Wallet and Hot Wallet?
I not only learned a lot on the Internet, but I also read books on NFT.
I had a lot to learn and this adventure into the unknown was very exciting.
What I did in the second step was to analyze the wonderful crypto artists.
Trevor Jones, XCOPY, FEWOCiOUS, Hackatao,Ross Ulbricht.
The turning point was when I came across an interview with Finnish crypto artist Vesa Kivinen titled "Art for Crypto : Interview with Vesa Kivinen (All Interviews)".
Vesa Kivinen was originally a photographer and filmmaker.
One day, after making a documentary film about currency, he came up with the idea of selling his graphic art in Bitcoin.
He then created a museum in the Metaverse - Voxels - to exhibit his work.
I quickly accessed his museum.
Inside the pyramid-shaped museum, there were many beautiful artworks on display.
It looked like a church altarpiece, radiating an overwhelming sense of reality and divinity. The entire building was a work of art.
I had a very strange feeling at that time.
I usually live in the shadows, whether I am there or not, unnoticed by anyone.
I live in a world of darkness and silence.
Alone.
After living like that for so long, I don't know who I am. It is as if I have become invisible.
For me, life in the real world is a meta-verse in which I control an avatar in my shape.
However, the moment I stepped into the Kivinen Museum, the real world and the metaverse were switched.
In that space, I did not have to pretend to be something I am not.
For me, the metaverse was the real world.
At that moment, I found my place.
I had only one moment of perfect inspiration when I was a teenager.
The sight was so beautiful that I was convinced I was born to see it.
I wanted to make that beautiful sight, which only I could see, eternal. That was the dream I had held on to for many years.
But I did not know how to realize it.
If I died, that scene that existed only in me would be lost forever. I would lose the meaning of my birth and the reason for my existence.
That was my greatest fear.
To escape this fear, I began to paint.
Only when I was painting could I regain my life.
The beautiful sights I once saw, my memories, the meaning of my birth, my psyche, will be turned into NFT and displayed in the metaverse.
The beautiful scene I saw will live on the blockchain and on the metaverse for hundreds and thousands of years after my death.
The beautiful sight of that day, which was only in my mind, will be dispersed all over the world, shared by all.
I have finally found it.
The silver bullet to make my grand dream a reality.
I would build my museum in the Metaverse as proof of my existence.
I decided to devote my life to this project.
The DAEMON Museum of Art was built in the image of a crematorium.
When I was a child, I once annoyed my teacher by writing an essay saying
that I loved crematoriums and wanted to be a crematorium guard when I grew up.
The following works are currently on display at the DAEMON Museum of Art.

The DAEMON project has now completed the production of over 200 pieces of NFT art, which will eventually be sold.
NFT still has a strong speculative aspect to it.
While anyone can create countless pieces, there is a possibility that the bubble may burst due to oversupply.
It will be difficult to determine which NFTs can retain their value over the long term.
When the bubble bursts, the time may come when people will say that NFTs themselves were evil.
Of course, the more someone mass-produces NFT, the more the works of the next generation of artists who see the potential of NFT will be hidden from the public eye.
Since the DAEMON project also produces NFT, it is certain that it is involved in this matter in no small degree.
Nevertheless, the DAEMON project will continue to produce NFT art.
Do you know the fable of the scorpion and the frog?
One day, there was a scorpion that wanted to cross a river. The scorpion could not swim.
The scorpion asked the frog to carry him on his back to the other side of the river.
The frog said. "If I do that, you will stab me, won't you?"
The scorpion said. "I will not sting you. Because if I stab you, I will drown too."
Believing the scorpion's words, the frog carried the scorpion on his back and began to cross the river.
But on the way across the river, the scorpion stabbed the frog.
The frog shouted.
"What are you doing? You and I will both drown!"
The scorpion said.
"I'm sorry, but it's in my nature"
The artist is a scorpion.
Perhaps the scorpion may have given up crossing the river to protect the frog.
Perhaps the scorpion crossed the river at the expense of the frog.
Perhaps the scorpion might have won over his nature and crossed the river safely, along with the frog.
Or perhaps the frog was saved and the scorpion drowned.
Some may have continued to watch over them.
DAEMON Museum returns the prayers of all scorpions to the earth and the wishes of all frogs to the heavens.
Please visit the DAEMON Museum.
The DAEMON Museum is free of charge.
After diving and diving and diving forever down the bottomless river, you will find the DAEMON Museum.
